• Ensured smooth backstage operations - managed backstage operations, time managed, ensured models got dressed on time and adhered to runway line up

• Coordinated backstage floor plan and stations, assigning each model to specific makeup artists

• Assisted designers with dressing models

• Spontaneous role, the role changed from event usher to Head of Backstage on the day itself

• Planned, conceptualized and executed overall visual merchandising strategy

• Conceptualized and designed retail space for our Lasalle Year 3 students’ collection with the theme “Singapore Stories”

• Maximized space provided in storefront - designed floor plan and utilizing props to create an eye-catching display corner

• Created product unique SKUs, facilitating stock take and smooth flow of transactions

• Attracted more tourist foot traffic into the store with local designs

• Spring and Summer collection inspired by old wives’ tales, viewing superstitions through a more playful lens

Digital Illustrator | @jelly.friend

May 2020 - current 

• 'Jelly Friend' is a personal project where I explore story-making with simple subjects to create visual stories with digital illustration. Drawing has always been my strong suit and interest and as a fashion design student, it played a heavy role in the overall aesthetics and presentation for my collections. 

• My goal with this project is to become a fulltime illustrator in the future and hopefully launch an e-commerce store where I sell printed textiles and lifestyle products like posters and stickers.

 

Costume Designer | Singapore Art Museum – Minimalism: Space. Light. Object

Jan 2019 exhibition

Collaborated with classmates and dancers from Diploma in Dance to design and produce a costume that was worn and performed at Art Science Museum for Minimalism: Space. Light. Object.
